Hey Pilgrims!
I know it’s been awhile since our last update, but I hope to find you all safe and well! As of today, March 28th, I am happy to announce the official release date of the next WPG supplement for 5th Edition Dungeons & Dragons, For the Family!
For those who remember our updates from our Patreon page, For the Family is an upcoming supplement based around creating player characters with crime family themes as well as giving DMs resources for creating and running crime families.
Player Options
Introducing 4 new sub-classes and 2 new backgrounds, players will find new ways to incorporate any of the many criminal organizations in the world into their backstory. Maybe they were an Undercover Agent who was sent to infiltrate a criminal organizations by a rival or perhaps they are a rank and file Family Member trying to make their way up through the ranks.
Fighting as one of the new sub-classes, The Brute Fighter, Way of the Family Monk, Pact of the Family Warlock, or Oath of the Family Paladin, players will find any number of ways to protect their family and further their own means.
DM Options
Adding in 9 new enemy stat blocks ranging from low level Minions all the way up to the crafty Mastermind there are options for a wide variety of encounters. On top of just the stat blocks, there are also mechanics and tables to help you not only create and individualized crime family or criminal organizations, but also new mechanics for running the organizations as well!
What Schemes will your organizations get up to in the background of you game? How will you be able to make the world feel alive and lived in? With the introduction of the Scheme mechanic, not crime families will be able to extend their own influence behind the scenes to either help or hinder the adventurers.
Be sure to set your calender for April 3rd and get ready to jump into the new supplement and tell your players you can “make them an offer” they can’t refuse!
